Dispute Experian
To file a dispute with Experian credit bureau you must write a dispute letter. When they receive your dispute letter they will investigate the disputed listing.
However the first step is to request a copy of your credit report. This can be done for free from annual credit report. It is your right to have a free copy of your credit report from each credit bureau once a year.
Once you have received your credit report you need to identify what marks are incorrect. These are going to be the marks that you will dispute.
These marks are disputed by writing a dispute letter and sending it to Experian. Upon receipt they will say if your dispute is valid or invalid.
If your dispute is considered invalid you will get a letter from them requesting additional information about the dispute. You need to respond and provide them with the information requested.
However if they find your dispute valid they will investigate the mark. During an investigation they will contact the originator of the item and ask them to verify the account, the balance, and the dates on the account.
It has been found that investigations will often result in a listing being removed. This is a result of many businesses being unwilling to spend the resources verifying disputed debts.
Your other option to dispute bad credit is to hire a credit repair service. If you do hire a service all you will need to do is identify what items you wish to dispute.
The benefit of a service is they can use advanced dispute techniques such as; debt validation, escalated dispute information requests, and creditor direct intervention.
I suggest do it yourself credit repair if you have only minor damage on your report, however if you have multiple marks I suggest a credit repair service. I also suggest a service if you are having trouble submitting a valid dispute or you have had a mark verified that should be removed.
You are going to need to dispute a bad credit item with each credit bureau. This means you will have to send a separate letter disputing the same item with each bureau.
In sum negative items can be removed from your credit report. You do not have to live with the high cost of low credit.

Credit Report Dispute
To remove negative marks on your credit report you must dispute the credit bureaus. You have two methods to do this.
1. Craft a dispute letter
This option will require you to write a dispute letter. In this letter you will need to identify the negative mark and provide and explanation as to why it is inaccurate.
Reasons often include; account paid in full, item is out of date, information is wrong and etcetera. You will need to send this letter to every credit bureau.
2. Hire a professional credit repair service.
With this option the company will write the dispute letter for you and mail it to the credit bureaus. The advantage of a company is they have advanced dispute techniques such as; escalated dispute information requests, debt validation, and creditor direct intervention.
I would suggest hiring a company if you have multiple negative listings on your credit history. However if you only have one or two negative listings you can remove them yourself.
Once the bureaus get your dispute letter and deem it valid they will conduct an investigation. If the item can not be verified then it must be deleted from you credit.
Be aware that often bureaus will use stall tactics to avoid holding an investigation. This is a result of bureaus only spending potential profits when they conduct an investigation.
The Fair Credit Reporting Act says the bureaus must investigate a disputed listing and if it is found unverifiable it must be removed from your report. The difficulty is getting the bureaus to find you dispute letter valid.
If you are experiencing trouble with this I recommend hiring a professional. However you can get the bureaus to deem you letter valid with some persistence.
Often an investigation will result in the negative listing being removed. This is a result of lenders being unwilling to spend the time and money verifying debts.
However you decide to dispute your credit, negative marks can be deleted. You do not have to wait the full seven years for these marks to be removed.

Having financial problems is not something you should be ashamed of because this is an international problem and you are not on your own. Around ninety percent of people struggle like this on a daily basis. So widespread has the problem become that is now considered routine by many.
It is often the case when you are in full time education that you forget that the student loan and other debts you’ve accumulated will have to be paid off, this normally dawns just after graduation. If that isn’t bad enough, before you know it you are married with two children and a mortgage. You probably haven’t even finished paying of you student loans yet and suddenly there are monthly household bills and a mortgage or rent to take into account.
Well, how did it all happen so fast? Life can be quite predictable and unless you were very good and didn’t have any credit cards, and parents who were generous enough to pay for your schooling, then this is likely what’s happened to you. It’s the interest rate that’s the killer so if you want to deal with the debt then it’s time to tackle the loan application.
Yes, it may seem like a strange thing to suggest if you are already deep in debt. It’s quite simple really as the key is in the interest rate as I hinted at before. It is almost invariably a high interest rate that is causing the problem and yours may even be as high as 17%. Do you really want to keep wasting your precious financial resources like this? How much do you owe? How much do they equal all together and what is the current interest rate on each? Perhaps after you have done this it may be possible for you to apply for a loan that incorporates all your outstanding debts into one. Consider what it would mean to you if your interest rate dropped to say 4%? Just think how much better you would feel only making one repayment per month and at a lower rate of interest.
There’s no further need to delay, why not start browsing the internet and see what’s available. It couldn’t be simpler to replace many high interest monthly repayments with one low interest monthly amount. So go online today and don’t delay further.

If you are a recent, qualified, graduate, you may be able to sign up for the Teach for American program, and receive a monetary award that can be put towards your current student loans. This program is part of the AmeriCorps service network that helps to connect graduates with underprivileged students.
If you get in to the AmeriCorps program, you will be sent to a rural or urban location where you will teach. In exchange, you get automatic forbearance on your loans and additional money to be applied to their repayment.
Members of Teach for America that have not been a part of any other AmeriCorps program before will also be eligible for a $4,725 education award at the end of each year that can be used towards certain student loans. The mission behind this program is a valiant one, and service can help with those debts.
The AmeriCorps program is designed to get college educated individuals into areas where help is needed. In exchange, you get help with your student loans. It is a win for both groups and a popular program. So, who can take advantage of it?
Surprisingly, Teach for America is not interested solely in those with an education background. This program seeks recent graduates from all types of disciplines. If you are accepted into the program, you will be placed in various cities and states depending upon where you are needed the most.
Currently, the trend is to place applicants in urban areas of need. These range from cities like Baltimore in the east to Los Angeles in the west. There are, in truth, cities in need of teachers across the nation, so you could end up anywhere.
The Teach for America program is one of those efforts that actually makes the government seem competent at times. It gives you the advantage of paying off your loans faster while giving areas in need a source of education and inspiration.
If this program sounds appealing to you, head to the Teach for America site to apply. Once you are placed within a specific region, you will start to earn money towards those loans, gain a decent salary, and begin impacting the future of America through your good works.

You Can Begin Your Own Credit Repair Today – Here’s How!
Whatever your background or record, you can take some simple and quick steps to begin your own credit repair. It costs nothing and you can begin right away – but the results can be tremendous!
To start, you’ll need to get a copy of your credit reports and actually go through them. There are three separate credit reporting bureaus and each one will have a slightly different report.
By law, consumers are entitled to one free credit report from each of the these agencies, TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax. You can get one from each agency, each year.
There is a website set up by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) specifically for this purpose: annualcreditreport.com. Be leery of any other sites claiming free credit reports – there will be strings & fees attached.
You’ll start your credit repair efforts as soon as you get your reports. To begin with, you want to read each report line by line.
Along with the report, you will get a “dispute” form – or an address where you can get it. This is where your initial credit repair efforts will focus.
For every entry that is incorrect, inaccurate, or outdated, you will be filing a dispute. Provide the correct information, or why it is incorrect, such as a debt that has been paid but not removed.
By federal law, the credit reporting bureaus have up to 30 days to verify each dispute. If they don’t do so, or don’t do it within the 30 days, they must remove those entries from your credit report.
This simple step can remove many of the negative strikes against you, and they will no longer count towards lowering your credit score. In many cases, this can lift your score by up to hundreds of points!
